My wedding was In March, and at the end of February I was told to just walk-in and not make a appointment but dureing the wk when the are slow. I had four bridesmaid dresses that needed alterations and all of them were able to get measured and completed in less then two weeks. They were also not expensive at all. The even altered a top for my mother. I was happy and didn't have any customer service complaints.

He also worked with me on shortening the lead time, and then even had it ready 4 days earlier than that! Pricing is fair for the excellent level of craftsmanship. They made sure everything fit perfectly, took an inch or so off my dress, and created BEAUTIFUL sleeves for me. Between bridal portraits and fittings I messed up a few seams and the occasional hook and eye, and they were so quick to fix anything I needed in the time I needed. I love the way my dress turned out, and I couldnt have done it without them. We paid a pretty good price for alterations and sleeve creation, but Id say every penny was worth it. You truly get what you pay for, and Im so glad we went with them.

I'm a little late writing this since I just finished wedding season, but wanted to finally say how great this place is! I brought in 3 outfits in April that I needed taken up at the bottom, and when I went in I said I just needed one in less than a week and was okay waiting for the other two. I dropped it off on a Saturday, and when I went in that next Thursday all 3 were ready and were hemmed perfectly! I definitely recommend going here for fast VERY professional service!

I went to tran tailor and she had told me she would charge me $4 but ended up raising up to $10. So I decided to price around and I called Prestige Tailor by Mario and he was quick and he did it for less. I had sleeves added to my dress-something I was actually a bit nervous about when I dropped my beautiful dress off. I had two fittings and everything went flawlessly. They really know what they do. I have taken a very expensive dress that was big on me and they made it fit perfect. Also have taken other clothes to fix and always do a great job. Also, they speak Spanish as well and their prices are very reasonables.

I have had many complicated alterations done over the years at Prestige Tailors and the workmanship, punctuality and pricing is excellent. These have included "slimming" and removal of shoulder pads from 90's Armani sport coat and suit jackets, new lining of Ferragamo leather jackets and even slimming of arms on an Italian reversible silk "baseball" jacket!!! Every time I've taken a pair of jeans to be hemmed or a dress shirt to have the sleeves shorten, they not only do a dynamite job making it look like the items were never altered and were just made that way, but they also do it FAST! Several times I've been quoted a longer time frame but had the phone call that the items were ready earlier.

Very professional shop,work is impecable. They do a wonderful job and alter everything a man needs to be dapper. From suit jackets, shirt adjustments, pants tapering. They also can do mtm items if that is your desire. Alterations are a little more expensive but worth the cost.

Juan is my tailor angel. I have had my old prom dress tailored here (long slim and very lacy/thick material) as well as other formal dresses/casual dresses, tops, and pants taken in and hemmed. They are professional, they've never messed my clothes up, they know my name every time I come in, and the service is fast with EXCELLENT quality. They usually tell you about 4-5 days until your item(s) are ready but they always call me back before that time to let me know my clothes are ready. I am so thankful that I now live down the road instead of having to drive from inside the loop. I just had a pair of really nice high waisted white classy pants tailored and brought them in on Tuesday and they called me on Friday morning to let me know it was ready. $14.00 for the pants to be hemmed. When I brought in 4 dresses, one of them being my fancy prom dress, it was approx $140.00. So depending on the amount work and the material of your clothes is the price you get. I would never say they are cheap, but the cost is worth the perfect results every time. Prestige Tailors for life!!! Thank you Juan!!!!! Also had my wedding dress altered here a few years after the leather jacket I reviewed below. Did a great job and with very short notice. Not cheap but it was hundreds of dollars cheaper than a nearby establishment I had a quote from. Was very happy with the finished product and service!

A lot of stuff about my wedding dress required modification - and I only had a few weeks to do it. Sleeves were added, the bodice was taken out, the train was removed, the length was shortened, a few layers of fluff were removed. And it was perfect. I highly recommend them!!!

I drive almost 30 miles out of my way to get my alterations done here. Mind you, I live in the smack dab middle of Houston, with a plethora of businesses--including tailors--to choose from. They just know what they're doing, are super affordable and have a quick turn-around! They can even make a cathedral-length veil within one week for less than $200. The head seamstress has been doing this for longer than I've been living, and the entire staff is very friendly and always greets me with a smile. You definitely get a lot of value for the cost!

I called 4 tailors in the area and obtained price quotes on altering 11 panels of window curtains. Prestige was about 20% less expensive than all the other places I called. They performed timely and efficient work that looks great! I am very pleased with the value for the cost. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

5 Minutes before closing
I was pleasantly surprised that 5 minutes before they were closing on Saturday, I was able to get 3 pair of pant legs hemmed and a button sown on a shirt. The cost was $35 + tax which may seem high, but I was in a hurry and they were gracious enough to finish them all even though it was after closing. They did a great job and I am very pleased with their work.

I'm a firefighter / EMT and I came by to just have a few patches added to my uniform shirt and some buttons stitched up. He gave me a 3 hour estimate as to when it'd all be ready. I went back and he kept his word I was in and out. The prices were fair. Not too expensive but not super cheap. If I remember correctly I spent about 10 bucks. (Normally it's a lot cheaper at a dry cleaners )

I went to tran tailor and she had told me she would charge me $4 but ended up raising up to $10. So I decided to price around and I called Prestige Tailor by Mario and he was quick and he did it for less. I WILL definitely come back because he did an amazing job at the repair and he knows great customer service. Thank you guys.

Price seems a little more than I expected but I did have extensive work done and I have never compared costs between taylor shops.

Quick Alterations, Great Price – Mario and his team work quickly to assure their customers of quaility alterations and tailoring. We use Mario for all our needs: wedding dress, business suits and casual wear. Love the service and the prices are very reasonable!

5 Minutes before closing – I was pleasantly surprised that 5 minutes before they were closing on Saturday, I was able to get 3 pair of pant legs hemmed and a button sown on a shirt. The cost was $35 + tax which may seem high, but I was in a hurry and they were gracious enough to finish them all even though it was after closing. They did a great job and I am very pleased with their work.

I just picked up my wedding dress today and it turned out amazing! Exactly what I asked for. The seamstresses were very knowledgeable and did great work! I needed a very quick turn around on the dress (10 days). I went in as soon as they opened to pick up my dress, but when I tried it on, I needed an additional inch taken in on the bodice. They completed the additional alteration the same day. I came back in the evening and my dress was ready! The bustle is gorgeous. All the staff were very helpful, polite and patient with me as I decided what I wanted, especially Noelle. It was also very reasonably priced. I cannot wait to wear the dress on my wedding day! I would definitely recommend this place and will be going back if I ever need alterations done on a formal gown again!

This is an excellent establishment!  They do quality work, offer same-day alterations, and have great customer service. Yeehaw!

I give them four stars because everytime I drop something off I come back and pick up a great piece of work. They alter amazingly...now it's really time to put them to the test...my wedding dress!!! OMG...I pray they do a good job, of course I'm trusting of no one at this moment...so I'll come back in a few to let u know...stay tuned!

Soooooo...THEY DID AN AWESOME JOB! I AM SO PLEASED! My dress came from Kleinfeld's and I must say Prestige did what they promised...you must give them a chance!

I always get new pants hemmed so I can wear them with flats, and I needed a recent pair done the same day, since I was about to leave for vacation. After I did a little research, I found Prestige Tailors, which is right across from Willowbrook Mall (next to Ross). I came in that morning, and the pants were done by 2pm--and it was Christmas Eve! They did a great job, and I will definitely come here in the future. What I've done in the past is have my dry cleaners hem them, and that usually takes a few days, for the same price. You can't beat same-day service!

Exceptional service I have used them throughout the years and have never once had an issue. Always had my garments on time and such a pleasant staff.
What prompted this review is that I was a bridesmaid in my brother in laws wedding a couple of weeks ago and they altered my dress from Alfred Angelo. It was a perfect fit! I mean like a glove. I had to have about 6-7 inches taken off the bottom an the waist nipped in and the bust fitted. It took one 10 minute fitting, he measured everything twice, told me to pick it up in a week and sent me on my way. Now, I would like to mention the importance of wearing your proper underclothes and shoes! A tailor can not guess what kind/height of shoes you will wear. The same for the bust. Everyone wants their dress to fit perfectly, but you have to do your part!
Price was reasonable, dress fit exactly when I went back to pick it up. What made this visit stand out was the trouble everyone else in the wedding party had with their dresses. Some of these ladies even had it done at the bridal shop. Almost everyone paid more than I did. There were stories of multiple visits, curling up hems and a dress that was too short. I was the only one who was happy all the way around. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

I went in for a simple hem on two pairs of pants, and the work was completed while I waited. The turn around time was very minimal, and the cost was exactly as expected. An additional bonus, the staff are very polite and professional. This is definately a company that knows how to make you feel that you are the center of attention.

I brought my Christmas party dress and they were courteous and professional, not to mention very fast and not overly priced. I would recommend this establishment to anyone. I drove 45 minutes to get there and it was definitely worth the drive.

Picked up a pair of pants today I had dropped off to be hummed. Service was great and I feel like I wasn't over charged. Sometimes when getting clothes done the quality of work is way up in the air, and who the heck knows how my stuff will fit. Well the pants fit great. Cost me about 12 for the one pair. Dropped them off on Monday were ready Thursday afternoon. Really appreciate the speedy work. Will for sure be going back with my work clothes.

Was in a bind with our softball pants. Leaving tomorrow and was on a tight schedule at work. Mario was able to get all four pants done for me at a very respectable price during my lunch break. So glad I stumbled upon this place! Will definitely take all future articles here.
